Tenere 700: Enduristan Sandstorm 4H Tank Bag - Pannier Topper Large (Tail Bag) - Tornado 2 Large 51 L Dry Bag - Rok Straps 1400 - Tool Roll - Abus Combiloop Cable Lock

The Enduristan Sandstorm 4H is a 7 litre, semi-rigid 100% waterproof 3 layer extremely durable design with detachable waterproof map pocket, has more flex than other Enduristan tank bags & sits mostly on top of the protruding fuel cap...it rests on the Tech Spec Tank pad at the back & the very front of the tank (added another piece of Tech Spec Tank Pad) as it slopes down toward the steering head.  I added inner tubes to the 4 attachment points for added protection of the paint.  Mounting at the front is via a yoke strap with 2 large plastic quick detach buckles that remain on the bike & snapped together when not in user.  The back mount is via Rok Straps made to Enduristan's specs, permanently attached to the bag & 2 frame mount female buckles secured via proprietory wide zap straps.

Tail Bag Mounting

The Rok Straps at the rear of the bag tuck into a cavity between the bag bottom & the exterior pad....a design feature so that the bag can be worn with the optional shoulder strap.  The map pocket is smaller than my previous 3E bag, but still a decent size + attached via velcro.  Enduristan includes a tube of silicon for lubing the zipper, 3 extra zap straps & 2 extra plastic clips.

Enduristan Pannier Topper Large as a Tail Bag

Seat/tail rack in-line mounted.  This will be my daily ride bag & mounting position (sans the GL MotoTrek bags) for tools, tubes, emergency kit, misc items. I use a cable lock to secure the bag to the rack & padlock for the zippers for added security.  It can be shifted back a few inches or mounted perpendicular on the tail rack when wanted to permit shifting weight further rearward for technical riding.  I removed the 4 metal hook clasps (for securing to metal pannier lid hooks) & use the straps for a more secure attachment.

Abus Combiloop 205 Cable Lock Securing Pannier Topper to Tail Rack + Padlock for Zipper

Since the Enduristan Pannier Topper will be mounted to the bike most of the time carrying my tools, emergency kit & misc items & not accessed daily I have secured it to the Tail Rack with an Abus Combiloop 205 Cable Lock + have a padlock on the zipper for added security as a theft deterrent.
