Super Tenere 1200: Cruise Control Not Working & Fix

Cruise Control Not Working 2018 (23k km) :  My 2014 ES first displayed the blinking cc light randomly & intermittently & initially would resolve itself thru restarting the bike, restoring functionality...but never any error code.  My 1st attempt to solve the problem was to check all switch adjustments & clean all switches with electronic cleaner (without disassembly) & abs sensors, but during the next 2k km trip, it's occurrence increased, but still returning to functioning status after restarts.  Still no error codes were stored, so this time I attempted to duplicate the issue by manually apply the front & rear brakes while on the center stand & not running & I got lucky & observed that the front brake micro-switch would randomly stick in the on position (brake lights stay on) & generate a 090 error code (interesting because no error codes were displayed previously).  This time I disassembled the front brake switch assembly to get access to the

2nd Generation Nexx X Com Helmet ( July 2018) This is the 2nd Generation Nexx X com helmet (X-Com communicator ready) from the Portugese manufacturer with a std 2 year warranty extended to 5.  I ordered from FC Moto in Germany 244.80 Euro ($424.75 Canadian including shipping & conversion + Euro helmets ship with a pinlock visor, US/Canada helmets do not.  Can be configured in 3 modes; Adventure style with peak & visor, Street style with peak removed, dirt style with visor and/or peak removed for use with goggles. Comes with cable operated built in sun visor that extends for full coverage with a detent at the fully extended position (other brands that use springs often become problematic with miles/use & dirt/sand exposure + it looks like Nexx integrated some type of seal around the slider mechanism to keep out water...was a concern because of the lever upper side mount location), 3 go pro mounting plates, an ergo foam fit kit, an adjustable peak & a peak extension that

Cariboo Rides & B-Day Celebrations with Cory Photo Album Link June 30 - Burnaby to 108 Mile Ranch via Whistler (rain), Lillooet (sunny) where I met 2 other bikers, a couple from Whistler on a KTM with a surf board rack pulling double duty & an Iron Butt rider on his way home to Arizona from Alaska on a FJR. Lunch in Clinton.  Then back to heavy rain enroute to Cory's. This was to be our 2nd attempt at our Bella Coola ride but the weather didn't cooperate so we went with Plan B of day rides instead. Last year's the forest fire epidemic cancelled our Bella Coola plans too...maybe the 3rd time will work out :) Lillooet July 01 - Rained out attempt to ride to Gang Ranch via FSRs, the S10 didn't like the greasy muck & took a nap...waited out a thunder & hail storm under a tree on Dog Creek Road July 02 - Pie run to High Five Diner (file pic from another trip, it rained heavy) in Little Fort via Hwy #24, Horse Lake & Bridge Lake Roads mostly in the rain.
