  Stedi ST3K 7.5" Slim LED Light Bar   The road to 'enlightenment' for auxiliary LED lighting for my Tenere 700 narrowed to a few choices based on the following criteria: under headlight mount to the lower triple clamp so that they track with the forks vs crash bar mount & must fit within the space constraints of under headlight mounting & maximum fork travel...I use DirtRacks Crash Bars which are not a high mount design & do not provide a protected mounting location high quality output with wide short to mid distance field of view combined with narrower mid to long distance  beam to extend beyond the oem lighting increased conspicuity with either integrated Daytime Running Light (DRL) function or a separate DRL from the auxiliary lights quality design & materials, reputable manufacturer compatibility with Skene Dimmer/Controller with electronic circuit protection permitting always on use with the oem low beam at programable reduced output & full power

 Repair of Broken U-Nut Tabs on Body Panel The T7 ABS body panels bolt mounting tabs that hold the U-nuts in place are not designed to withstand much torque or stress & can snap off easily if misaligned and/or over tightened.  Tech Tip: ensure that body panels are fully aligned in place & hand tighten snug, additional tightening & use of loctite not recommended as the torque required may exceed the tensile strength of the tabs. Repair Plastic welding/soldering could be used for this type of repair, however, I opted to use RapidFix to chemically bond 1.5 mm (1/16") black abs to the back of the tabs & a smaller piece inserted into the void on the front where the tab with the bolt hole broke off. The thickness of the 2 bonded pieces is a little more than tab's 2.6 mm (3/32") thickness & the slightly recessed slot for the spring nut. Tech Tip: lightly scuff up the surfaces to be bonded with sand paper & clean thoroughly with Isopropyl alcohol (99%) I

   Cheam Lake Wetlands Regional Park Cheam Lake Wetlands is a 107-hectare  park located near Bridal Falls , featuring a lake, marsh, and forest & is popular for walking, picnicking and bird watching and is home to many insect, mammal and 184 different bird species. It features a  floating boardwalk leading to a viewing platform and a pproximately 2 km of easy walking trails.    Camp River Road, Chilliwack
