  Ignition Coil Wiring Harness Connector Plug Locking Tab Broke off Furukawa RFW 090 2 Pin Male Connector Yamaha does not list the plug in the parts catalogue, so assume it would be part of the entire wiring harness. Eastern Beaver (USA company specializing in motorcycle electrical connectors), Alibaba & a few other suppliers sell a Furukawa RFW 090 2 pin replacement connector. Was able to source a pkg of 5 from Alibaba for $1.51 Canadian! Will replace the broken oem connector & temporary zip tie fix (see further below) the next time I have the tank off. The bike started to feather before clearing up on my ride today & generated the check engine light & a P0351 fault code...cylinder #1 ignition coil (open or short circuit detected in the primary lead of cylinder #1 ignition coil)....this is what it did on my trip in June when I thought it might be bad or marked gas & it did it momentarily while the bike was idling just after starting the other day too.  Se...

  Tenere 700 Fuel Pump  Replacement  Tea Bag Filter  Yamaha does not list any service interval for the fuel pump & related filter, but it is worth ensuring that the entire fuel delivery system performs as per spec & with proper pressure. At 35k km or 22k miles the tea bag filter on my 2014 Super Tenere 1200 ES was dirty resulting in pressure drop that affected performance & fuel economy...the change is subtle & progressive so difficult to ascertain without a pressure test or physical inspection of the fuel pump. As with the Super Tenere 1200, Tenere 700 & other models Yamaha does not sell just the fuel pump tea bag filter, instead requiring buying the entire pump assembly (#BW3-13907-00), BUT Suzuki, who uses the same Mitsubishi UC-T35 fuel pump on their V-Strom 650 & other models does sell it, part #15420-44G00, which can be sourced via 3rd party suppliers on AliExpress.
